Gas Safety Check

If you do not own an up-to-date gas certificate, your building insurance can be invalidated. Gas safety checks are a legal requirement for all landlords and need to be carried out annually. If you do not instruct a check by a Registered Gas Safe Engineer, it can lead to prosecution. We recommend having an ongoing system in place which is useful if you own multiple properties. Forward Plumbing carry out one-off inspections and contracted inspections which take place every year.

A gas safety report starts at £60 plus VAT and a boiler service and gas safety check is £95 plus VAT.

Carbon Monoxide Alarms

In October 2015, it was made a legal requirement for all rented properties to hold a working Carbon Monoxide alarm. These alarms require safety checks to ensure they are working sufficiently. We can also install carbon monoxide alarms as a separate service or accompanied with your property's gas safety inspection. We only charge £35 + VAT for this service - so take advantage!
